Fair Use Policy

SPAIKING plans include a monthly amount of live voice practice. This policy explains how those minutes work and what fair use means, so the Service stays fast and affordable for everyone. It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Live minutes by plan

Live minutes are time spent in a real voice conversation with your coach. Reading lessons and text chat do not use live minutes.

2. How minutes reset

Your live minutes refresh at the start of each billing month. Unused minutes do not carry over. If you reach your limit, you can still use text chat and the course, and you can upgrade any time for more live practice.

3. What fair use means

Plans are meant for one person practicing a language. To keep the Service fair and reliable, you agree not to:

Share your account or your minutes with other people.
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to run conversations or generate usage.
Use the Service for anything other than genuine language practice, such as running it as a general purpose assistant or a commercial service.
Attempt to get around plan limits or resell access.

4. If usage looks unusual

If we see usage that looks automated, shared, or far outside normal personal practice, we may reach out, apply reasonable limits, pause live minutes, or, in serious cases, suspend the account. We will always try to contact you first where we can.

5. Changes

We may adjust plan limits or this policy over time. Any change to your current plan limits will be communicated with reasonable notice and will apply to future billing periods.
